The ball/rod mill model: TA-12000 RAB has been designed and established for grinding chemical materials, metallurgy, rock, minerals, and pharmaceuticals in research laboratories. In this mill, the grinding process can be performed by both wet and dry methods.
The Ball/Rod mill , RAB series are comprised of a cylindrical cylinder as the mill chamber, balls, and rods as the grinding load. The grinding process is conducted by rotating the mill cylinder, successive impacts of falling balls and rods, and wear between grinding load, minerals, and mill wall.

The ball/rod mill model: TA-12000 RAB cylinder is made of hardened alloy and chromium steel. It is resistant to corrosive pulps and sulfur minerals. The grinding rods are established by chromium steel and stainless or stainless chromium steel or alumina. From a dimensions point of view, the balls and rods are used with different diameter combinations.
The input load dimensions of the Ball/Rod mill , RAB series is max. 15 mm , based on the strength and materials of the grinding cylinder and balls, The grinding aids (e.g., carbonate or sodium silicate and polyphenols) can be used either for easy and quick grinding process or research purposes. Also, this feature makes it possible to grind various chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical materials through this device.

The main body of the ball/rod mill model: TA-12000 RAB and its grinding cylinder can rotate at an angle of 125˚ around a balanced axis. This mechanism is considered for several purposes, including easy charging (loading), discharging (unloading), as well as cleaning, and washing cylinder together with loading and unloading rods and balls. The mechanism of the laboratory ball mill allows the operator to easily and quickly put and lock the mill grinding unit in an arbitrary position within charging, discharging, and grinding processes.

The rotation velocity of the laboratory ball/rod mill , model: TA-12000 RAB can be regulated in the range of 40 to 110 RPM. This procedure is implemented by a control unit mounted on the control box of the device. The milling process time is set by a digital timer in the range of 0 to 90 minutes.
One of the optional features for the Ball/Rod mill , RAB series is concerned with considering the grinding cylinders with the volumes of 5, 10, 20, 30 and 50 liters. This feature is employed to increase (or decrease) the mill capacity.
Installing the Ball/Rod mill , RAB series does not need a foundation. It can be used on standard laboratory surfaces.
